Add a Custom URL to your WordPress Gallery Images

What if you wanted a custom link for each image in your gallery. This would be helpful if you wanted a gallery image to have an outbound link or link to a page on your site.

Create a download button short code

We are going to create a download button like those seen in my “Plugin Posts”, which uses a short code in the post. Luckily, it is super easy. e.g. [ download href="YourLinkGoesHere" ] (without the spaces)
